Salon and spa furniture for the Balkans: Serbia, Bosnia and North Macedonia
The Balkans are close to our workshop in Istanbul, and trade between Türkiye and the region is supported by free trade agreements. For a salon, spa or hotel owner there, that means short delivery routes and simpler customs than for goods from further away. Here is what matters when you buy.
Trade agreements
According to the Turkish Ministry of Trade, Türkiye and Serbia eliminated customs duties on all industrial products under their free trade agreement, in force since 1 September 2010, with revised protocols that took effect on 1 June 2019. Türkiye also has free trade agreements with Bosnia and Herzegovina and North Macedonia. Preferential treatment depends on rules of origin and the right proof of origin, so ask your customs broker which document applies to your shipment and ask us to prepare it.
Short routes, flexible loads
Road transport from Istanbul to the Western Balkans is far shorter than sea freight from Asia, which makes mixed or smaller orders practical: a salon fit-out, a few manicure tables, a reception desk. Ask for a delivery estimate to your city when you request a quotation.
